Snapchat has been used by many users, both the Android as well as the iOS platform.

Snapchat has now introduced a new update to the application. The new update aims to build more security to the users of the application.

Snapchat has introduced a new two step security check in the course of logging in to the application. Snapchat has introduced this two factor authentication to both its Android and iOS app.

The security check involves two steps.

The users have to activate the security check in the settings menu of the application. At the time of logging in, the users will receive a unique six digit code to the registered mobile number. The users will have to enter the six digit code in the security check, which makes it complete and secure.

On the other hand, the users can also store a recovery code, which could be used to retrieve the account if the phone linked to the account is lost or damaged.

The update for the sercuity checks ought to be downloaded by the users.

The update is available for both the android and the iOS versions.
