Safaree Samuels might have taken a page out of Taylor Swift's book. The artist released his latest track, "Love The Most" on iTunes this Wednesday and many are speculating that the song chronicles the 12-year relationship he had with rapper, Nicki Minaj.

Some of the lyrics said: "You ain't do it all alone/ We took ourselves up out the hood/ Yeah, we made it on the rise/ Ain't no green in my eyes/ 'Cause we both went to sleep in the same bed of lies."

The hip-hop singer's Auto-Tune song addressed other issues such as infidelity, and invisibility in a relationship. Samuels also mentioned the fact that he thought she would have been the mother of his children and that they would have ended their long romance the way they did.

He sang, "What a shame / It took a split for them to know I was your man / Got so tired of hidin' it / Head high with no pride in it / Guess I wasn't cool enough cause in our pictures we hidin' it...Twelve years up in flames / Thought you woulda had my kid / Year 3 got engaged / Now we movin' out of rage."

Safaree also rapped about watching Minaj kiss Nas when she shot the music video for "Ride by My Side."

"I had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it's all cool/ Inside I was feeling like a motherf------ fool."

Once a snippet of the song was released, it did not take long for Minaj to respond.

Throughout the night, Minaj tweeted several messages that ended on a nice note:

Her last tweet read: "Making a 12 yr relationship work at such young ages? We're BOTH the real MVP. things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge"
