Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson will be attending the team's voluntary practice on Tuesday.

Since his reinstatement, the 30-year-old running back has been very vocal about his desires to be traded. Despite Peterson's rants on social media geared toward the league and the union, the Vikings have repeatedly stated that they will not trade Peterson.

After the second team practice last week, which Peterson skipped, coach Mike Zimmer stated, "He's really got two choices. He can either play for us or he cannot play. He's not going to play for anybody else and that's just the way it's going to be. I don't know when he's coming and we'll just leave it at that."

After some tense weeks, it appears that Peterson has moved on and will focus on being a member of a team that he still has love for despite being away for nine months. In an email sent to the Associated Press, Peterson explained why he did not want to stay in Minnesota.

"I've been away from the game for an entire season. I wanted the chance to be around the players and coaches, the guys that really matter to me," Peterson wrote and added, "I have an agent who handles any contractual questions or business-related questions, but it's normal procedure for any player in my position to want to secure his future."

There were reports that Peterson wanted to rework his contract with the Vikings to include guaranteed money. He has three years left on his contract worth $46 million and none of that money is guaranteed. Peterson and his agent Ben Dogra revealed that although no contractual changes have been made, the running back is ready to put all of the drama behind him.

He wrote, "I understand this is a business. Clearly there were a lot of emotions involved, but I will only be better from the situation. I have a role to play and the Vikings have one as well. It's time to move forward and put my energy and focus on preparing for the season.

I love my teammates. We have a great group of young players and a solid coaching staff and I'm excited to get back on the field with those guys and play in front of the fans again."

Peterson was suspended for the majority of last season when he was dealing with child abuse charges in Texas.
