Recently Samsung launched its flagship smartphones, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, but fans are missing the water and dust resistance in the two smartphones.

Fortunately, it appears that the Korean manufacturer will offer an alternative very soon, as Galaxy S6 Active.

According to GSM Arena, Galaxy S6 Active has appeared in an official listing on a Samsung Website. However, it has been removed after being spotted for obvious reasons.

Reportedly, Galaxy S6 Active had to launch with other two Samsung's flagship model on April 10. Unfortunately that did not happen but it still means that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active might launch soon as it has already missed the deadline.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Specs

If rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy S6 Active will include a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, an Exynos 7420 chipset, and 16MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 3,500mAh battery to power the device hopefully for an entire day.

Another flagship feature of the device would be the water and dust resistance.

Rumors also suggest that AT&T will offer the Galaxy S6 Active first.

It is advised to take these rumors with a pinch of salt as nothing is officially confirmed about the handset yet.
