George Clooney is turning 54 on May 6th and with that, his wife Amal Alamuddin is giving him a new Porsche as a birthday gift.

According to Design and Trend, the 37-year old international lawyer is buying a Porsche 911 GT3 RS said to have already undergone a test drive by George himself. The car being one of the first available units in the United States costs 135,000 British pounds or about 205,000 U.S. dollars.

The four-liter, 200mph motor is intended to be in addition to the actor's current Porsche 911.

"George loves his cars. They have to be stylish and fast, and he always has two," a family source told Mirror further saying that the actor also owns a 1959 red and white Chevrolet Corvette.

Aside from that, Amal is also giving a smoothie maker to satisfy the actor's special fondness for smoothies and for maintain his health.

"A big one apparently because he's obsessed with his smoothies of all descriptions...George has had health issues, a lot of operations on his neck, and he finds the smoothies very soothing," the family source said.

Amal Alamuddin has always been open in showing her love and in giving gifts to his husband. In October last year, she also dropped a fat sum of $3,700 in buying handmade Murano cocktail glasses from Venice meant to be as her newly-wed gift, E! Online reports.

The cocktail glasses are customized in such a way that they look similar to the ones used in their wedding.

Amal loves the idea of them having the same cocktail glasses that they use at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice. George admired them every time he looked at them during the wedding celebrations and they didn't have time to go shopping in Venice, so she's ordered them in as a post-wedding gift for him. It means that every time they curl up with a cocktail at home they'll think of their wedding and be reminded of all the happy memories," a source told E! News.
