Kanye West is once again promoting his friends Jay Z's new music service Tidal, after he deleted all previous messages that showed support and left fans wondering if the business deal had gone sour between them.

Kanye West had been among the artists to promote the launch of the new music service and even changed his Twitter avatar to a picture of the Tidal logo.

He also posted this tweet on March 30, the day of the launch: "Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue. #TIDALforALL."

But then Kanye West deleted all tweets that positively reinforced the service and even change his avatar to a picture of the My Beautiful Dark Twist Fantasy cover art of his new album.

However, he soon received backlash from social media users, questioning his motives and if that meant he had backed out of Tidal.

On Wednesday, he tweeted out a supporting message of TIdal.

"The love of music is louder than words," he tweeted Wednesday night.

Jay Z bought Tidal for $56 million in January, and relaunched it with the support of artists like Madonna, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, Jack White, J. Cole, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, Deadmau5, Nicki Minaj, Usher and Rihanna.

In an interview with PAPER, West defended his appearance at the relauch of Tidal.

"I heard a comment - a joke - about the Tidal press conference being an Illuminati moment. If there was actually an Illuminati, it would be more like the energy companies. Not celebrities that gave their life to music and who are pinpointed as decoys for people who really run the world. I'm tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati. That's ridiculous. We don't run anything; we're celebrities. We're the face of brands. We have to compromise what we say in lyrics so we don't lose money on a contract. Madonna is in her 50s and gave everything she had to go up on an award show and get choked by her cape. She's judged for who she adopts. F-k all of this sensationalism. We gave you our lives. We gave you our hearts. We gave you our opinions!"
