Microsoft recently announced a new Surface 3 tablet but still the web is abuzz about the next Surface Pro laplet. According to BGR, the next Surface Pro 4 laplet is expected to be 'a huge update.'

There's not any official announcement from the Microsoft but BGR claims that the next laplet would be "worth the wait" as it would boast of "high-end specs."

BGR, in its report, speculated that the new laplet would be available in two size options - either a 12-inch one or a 14-inch one with 2K resolution displays. Microsoft might also allow customers to choose either a laplet with an Intel Core i5 processor or one with a Core i7 processor.

The device might come with a 16GB of RAM and a stylus.

Meanwhile, Inquisitr reported that t is likely that the next Microsoft Surface Pro laplet would come out this October, coinciding with the release of the new Windows 10.

According to Motley Fool, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 would be LTE-capable as well.

Meanwhile, an image leaked by an "Anonymous" 4chan user earlier said that the new laplet would come out this July but the legitimacy of the post has not yet been confirmed as of present, Latin Post noted.
