‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Update: See Jared Leto’s Green Joker Hair
Director David Ayer has teased two photographs for his upcoming movie, "Suicide Squad" via Twitter.
The first picture was of the cast on their first table read. The impressive cast includes Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) and Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg).
Other cast members whose roles have not been revealed yet included Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack and Adam Beach. The latest rumors are hinting that Barinholtz will play Hugo Strange, Parrack will be Deathstroke and Beach will be Raven.
The one cast member that was noticeably missing was Jared Leto. Ayer, however, was quick to post a second photo.
In the second photo, Leto's hair has been dyed green, which is distinctive to his role as The Joker. Leto is holding a camera and appears to be taking a shot. For those who do not know, the picture references the cover of Alan Moore's comic, Batman: The Killing Joke. That comic provided Joker's original story.
The other cast member who was missing in the photos was Scott Eastwood, whose role has not been announced yet.
"Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
