Rumors have been confirmed that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are taking some time off in their three-year-old relationship.

According to People, rumors have started when the lovebirds were not seen in the recent prominent film festivals like the Oscars and Golden Globes. In both occasions, Emma Stone went there alone without her beau.

Andrew Garfield is currently in Taiwan working on a new Martin Scorsese film project Silence and is said to be very busy for his role as a Jesuit priest.

"He's thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else," the source said.

He's very in his character. He's lost weight, and he's in a dark place mentally for his performance and he's not boyfriend material right now," a source telling Newscom.au also said

Reports also said that both have been slaves to their schedules and have been fighting a lot lately.

"They had been fighting a lot and they hadn't seen each other. They have both been working but they weren't getting along."

However, the source from People is hopeful that the couple can still work out on their relationship and will be back together soon.

"Emma understands his work anxieties - it's why she originally pulled out of Cabaret last year and only did it this year - but they're taking a break from seeing each other...They are just separated for work. Andrew is overseas. They are both busy with their careers and have not seen each other."

"But it's too early to say the relationship is over," the source further added.

Meanwhile, Mail Online said that the Birdman actress handles the break up very well as she is seen spending some quality time with her family at Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Wednesday.

Photos from the news source revealed that the 26-year old actress is having fun talking and enjoying the rides in the amusement park.
