Twitter Revamps Its 'Quote Tweet' Feature

Twitter is revamping its Quote Tweet feature to embed the actual tweet instead straight text or a direct link. Prior, to quote a tweet, users had to copy the tweet manually, paste as a new tweet and then add a comment.

However, now the micro-blogging service will embed the actual tweet with a link to that tweet, allowing users to insert 116 characters at max.

Users looking to quote tweet on web simply have to click the retweet button and select option to 'Add a comment.'

The new feature has already started appearing on service's website and will be rolling out soon on Twitter's official iPhone app. For Android, the company says the feature is 'coming soon.'
