AJ Styles was in full heel mode and form as he faced Kofi Kingston in the ring on June 2’s SmackDown Thursday night event. The fight went great with frequent ringside rowdiness from Styles ‘Club’ and Kingston’s ‘New Day’.
Last Monday Night Raw was supposedly intended to welcome John Cena back to WWE after his months-long absence. The 15-time world champion did receive a ‘warm welcome’ after a traitorously blindsided by AJ Styles as his fellow Club members, Gallows and Anderson, viciously beat him down to the canvass.
