“One Punch Man” started out as a free digital comic on the Tonari no Young Jump spin-off website. Now it is one of the most popular manga, paired together with a 12 episode anime, second season in production and a large band of fans awaiting the return of Saitama (Makoto Furukawa).

University Herald shares information on the upcoming “One Punch Man” Season 2 anime. According to rumors, during the development of the series, Saitama will turn into a villain. The reasons behind his transformations are unknown, but there are a few theories roaming the space. One of them suggests that Saitama will grow fed-up with the people and will decide to turn against them. Another one says that Saitama will turn evil because of a heartbreak that he is going to experience in the coming season. Wherever the story takes him, it will be interesting to see the hero on the opposite side of the conflict.

Christian Today adds in on the expectations which fans should have towards the coming “One Punch Man” Season 2. According to them, the true identity of King (Hiroki Yasumoto) will be shown in the coming episodes. He may be known as a though fighter whose path you should not cross, but it will turn out that he is a fake. Saitama will learn about it, but will decide not to reveal King’s secret. Garou will also make an appearance in the upcoming releases of the series. He is known as the only person who has survived Saitama’s Serious Punch and will have a bigger character development.

Among additional information, Anime News Network shares that Shueisha's Young Jump will release the new chapters of the “One Punch Man” manga. They will make a serious print of over 11 million copies, which is a testament to the series’ popularity and the fans desire to learn more.
