“Attack on Titan” shook the screens of fans, bringing both emotions and action into their lives. Together with the last survivors of humanity, they drew blood, tears, laughs and a hot steamed potato. “Attack on Titan” Season 2 is nearing and with it more information is revealed.

The biggest question to yet be revealed is when will the long wait end? When will almost three years of waiting end? International Sports Times gives comfort to the fans, telling them that “Attack on Titan” Season 2 will hit the screens quite soon. Even though it is not as soon as February, as it was first expected, the date will not be much late. Following Japanese TV launch cycles, the magazine offers April 2017 as a more plausible date, considering that if it was planned for February, there would have already been made an official announcement.

As stated by Comic Book, last month “Kodansha Comics” has released the “Attack on Titan: Anthology”. This is a big project, which connects western comic book writers with Isayama to create an anthology of the houses in the anime’s universe. The stories span over various different genres. Some of them are chilling horror, others are a flighty romance and others are an adrenalin filled action sequence. Even though it is not directly connected to the anime’s plot, it gives an interesting insight on the lives of people behind the walls Maria and Rosa.

Io9 has shared a scan of one of the stories in the anthology. Fans are free to read it in the link and to avoid spoilers to readers, it can only be said that it is a full blooded “Attack on Titan” story, even though the format is slightly different to what fans are used to seeing, it reveals the full horrors behind the lives inside the wall and the reason why the fear of the titans exists.
