J.K. Rowling Confirms 5 'Harry Potter' Spin-Off Movies

The new movie released in the universe of the “Harry Potter” series, will be a prequel story, revolving around a magizoologist named Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) who arrives in New York City in the year of 1926, carrying a case of magical creatures.

The creatures manage to escape and wreak havoc upon the city, endangering the magical community of exposure to the world of the muggles. What else awaits the fans of the “Harry Potter” franchise?

Fortune shares J.K. Rowling’s confirmation that the first expected trilogy of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” will actually be a five-movie series. At a Q&A session held with the cast of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, J.K. Rowling announced that the trilogy was kept as a placeholder and now, that she is sure about the way the story will go, she can firmly attest that the series will be of exactly five movies.
The expected future success of the movie has allowed J.K. Rowling to work on the second screenplay of the series, where she announced that she’s adding the final touches to the screenplay.

Another surprised, confirmed by the author of the best-selling “Harry Potter” series is the fact, that the new movies will tie with the story of the original “Harry Potter” story arc, but will also offer a new insight on the world, by presenting the first giant threat to the magical world, the first mage to threat the order of the magical world.

Independent UK stir up the hype to the upcoming movie, by announcing that in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” will feature cameos by series favorites like young Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grendelwald.

All secrets and mysteries of the magical world will be revealed, as the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie hits the screens on November 16 – USA, November 17 & 18 for Europe and November 23 for Japan.
