Former TNA professional wrestler Bobby Roode has recently announced that a possible sign-in with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is not yet a done deal as he dispels swirling rumors in wrestling land that he already jumped on board with pro-wrestling's largest franchise.

Speculations were fueled by his departure from TNA as he enters the free agency market. He blasted the internet for exaggerating roundups on his purported contract with WWE.

"I'm not officially signed yet," remarked Roode in an interview with The Peterborough Examiner. "The Internet has blown up over it, and I mean I'm close, but I don't want to spoil anything or ruin anything. I want to wait until its official. I don't want to jinx anything either."

For the uninitiated, Roode was the longest heavyweight title holder in TNA's history and was a five-time tag team champion. After 12 long wrestling years, Roode finally decided to quit and became a free agent.

Currently, negotiations are still underway although there are strong hints that he's likely to sign in with WWE according to an Inquistr report. But in the absence of an agreement sealed on paper, talks could also break down at any point. Apart from Roode, fellow ex-TNA wrestler Eric Young is also allegedly heading for a WWE sign in but may also consider a future career with NXT. If Roode opts to cast his lot with WWE, he will join a few other TNA veterans like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Austin Aries who all inked a deal for a much higher pay with WWE.

In another sports roundup from Wrestle Zone, WWE star Adam Rose reportedly had lost a tooth during a match between the Apollo Crews and Curtis Axel on Smack Down which he confirmed in a recent tweet.

"You will pay for this @ApolloCrews! Lost a tooth! You shall learn the way of the mongoose! #smackdown @WWE," Rose tweeted as quoted by Wrestle Zone
