Defending Superbowl title holder, Denver Broncos, is crippled as of this moment as the team struggles with the recent loss of its quarterback assets. Peyton Manning has exited from the scene following his retirement from professional football. Brock Osweiler's flight to Houston Texans as a free agent severely handicapped the team as it re-assembles its roster for the next season.

As a response to Broncos' existing woes, one local orange faithful started an petition titled 'Bring Tebow back to Denver!' via Change.org - a grassroots pitch aimed at calling for Tim Tebow's return.

"The Denver Broncos have lost their two main quarterbacks from their epic 2016 Superbowl [sic] Championship winning season. We need a proven winner to continue to move this team in the right direction. Coach Gary Kubiak's offence [sic] would thrive with Tebow under center. He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We don't need a subpar throwaway from some other team; we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this!" the petition reads as quoted by 247 Sports.

The petition managed to garner 453 signatures as of Friday afternoon, just 57 away from its intended goal of reaching 500. The online petition has been going on for a month now right after Brock Osweiler's confirmed trade to the Houston franchise.

As reported by Sporting News, Tebow was Broncos' pick in the first NFL Draft round in 2010. He stayed with Denver for two seasons until he was moved to New York Jets to give way to Manning. He played for the New York franchise for one season before signing in with New England Patriots in 2014 and Philadelphia Eagles in 2015.

In another Tebow roundup from Christian Daily, the former Eagles QB seems to have reached a more receptive audience outside NFL than when he was still a player. Known for his outspoken Christian views and practices, Tebow established his own foundation in 2010 to help children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions.
