There was little that could be predicted when the "Winds Of Winter" was going to be released. However, George R.R Martin announced that his sixth novel in the popular "Game of Thrones" book series will no longer be delayed.

It is true that many people might have been disappointed about George's slow writing; some might have assumed that he is experiencing a writer's block and some might have blamed his other commitments and convention appearances for the novel's delay. However, it is also true that it is his meticulous way of writing that gives birth to stunning addictive stories and supreme vision. He does things differently and he gives scrupulous attention to every detail in his novel.

Just imagine the sheer pressure on this man to meet the expectations of millions and millions of book-lovers. Those millions of book-lovers are waiting to see whether this season's novel would represent the peak of George's art. In contrast to the previous seasons, this novel has to stand out. The book readers and show-lovers might be critical if it does not stand up to the previous efforts of George. So, it can well be said that there pretty good reasons as to why he took much time in writing this season's book.

What the fans of George love the most, is how beautifully he weaves various story threads and how he visualizes each of his characters. As an author, he gives us amazing stories full of surprises; he reshapes each plot to create several centers of interest; he creates something unique and brilliant.

His forthcoming sixth novel should be a mega-global success, and that is why he is working hard; he has even abandoned several conventions so that he can work on "The Winds of Winter."
