The dwellers of Thailand, with another casual day, experienced another interesting episode which has triggered restlessness as well as panic in some cases. Lately, an unexplained and a strange explosion occurred in the sky, rendering people thrilled and electrified.

According to the witnesses in Nonthaburi, Thailand, people perceived an abrupt explosion and burst of lights on the sky that left them in utter shock. The incident took place at around 8:40 am on Monday, according to the Bangkok Post. Spectators recorded the event on their portables, which has become viral over the internet.

According to the Thailand's Astronomical Society, the flash was referred to a bright meteor named as bolide. Viewers called it as a strange commotion that has resulted in the widespread acknowledgement of alien happenings, a shooting star or an asteroid apocalypse.

Nobody was hurt or wounded in the incident and masses have posted videos and photos of the episode, which has led to immense puzzlement and astonishment. The average sized fireball caused a long trail of light in the sky, which gradually formed a large ball before falling to the ground.

Many controversial theories have spiked up as the ball of fire travelled at a high rate of speed before exploding and then disappeared into the sky. According to some, it was probably an object which was supposed to re-enter the earth's atmosphere at the same time the incident took place.

The other claims it to be a balloon which was on fire. According to the Deputy Director of National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand Saran Poshyachinda, the object was about 62 miles above from the earth when it made its appearance in the sky. It was not very massive and was of few kilograms.

Whatever it was, in a nutshell, the incident initiated fright for a short period of time as it took place during the rush hour. Nobody is hurt and no damage was actually described, which is a positive sign.
