U.S. Air Force has certified SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket for national security space missions, ending monopoly of United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin Corporation and The Boeing Company.
SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket successfully lunched with a 2.2-ton package of supplies and experiments for the International Space Station on Tuesday but ended up toppling over after descending to a barge parked in the Atlantic Ocean.
