Zion National Park's Iconic Canyon Shaped By Massive Landslide Thousand Years Ago

A University of Utah-based research published a paper revealing new insights as to how the present-day Zion National Park’s natural formation came to be. Published in GSA Today, the research asserts that a massive landslide chiseled the park’s breathtaking scenery with top speed reaching 180 to 200 miles per hour in just 20 seconds.
