Car owners took to the social media to complain after a faulty software update caused a widespread blackout of Lexus cars’ infotainment and navigation systems. Meanwhile, some drivers found a way to fix the problem by doing hard reset by unplugging the car battery cables for 10 minutes before plugging them back.
Egypt has been plagued by rolling blackouts for much of the summer, leading to public discontent similar to that which led to the overthrow of Mohammed Morsi in 2013.
