Who should play the next Christian Grey?

Actor Jamie Dornan is not interested in reprising his role as billionaire Christian Grey in any sequel to the raunchy film, "Fifty Shades of Grey." According to the Australian magazine NW, a source stated that Dornan decided to quit after his wife, Amelia Warner complained about his newfound fame.

"Jamie said the movie would skyrocket his career. He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie," the source said. "She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest."

Warner, who gave birth to the couple's first child over a year ago, was allegedly unhappy with the sex scenes that Dornan would have to act out if he signed on to a sequel. The movie was based on E.L. James' book, "Fifty Shades of Grey," which follows a recent college graduate's journey into the BDSM world, led by businessman Grey. Since "Fifty Shade of Grey" is a part of a trilogy, many fans would expect two more movie adaptations over the next few years. However, Universal Studios have not committed to the sequel just yet.

Although a sequel has not been confirmed, "Fifty Shades of Grey" shattered several box office records. The movie holds the title for all-time February opening. It also broke the Valentine's/ Presidents day weekend opening record.

"All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio have not committed to a sequel as yet," Dornan's representative told Daily Express Online.

"The studio have not committed to a sequel as yet," the spokesperson for the director of the movie, Sam Taylor-Johnson, said.

Despite the film's strong opening, the Universal motion picture did not get good reviews. Movie reviewers were particularly critical of the chemistry between Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who played the love interest, Anastasia Steele. There were early rumors that Dornan blamed the lack of chemistry on Johnson who "gave him nothing to work with." The scathing reviews have also reportedly left Dornan hesitant about playing Grey in two more movies.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is still in the number one spot at the box office. Since its opening weekend, the movie has brought in more than $280 million worldwide so far.
