Considering the popularity of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) franchise, it's no wonder to see fans greatly anticipating a release date of DLC (downloadable content) packs of extra Heists missions for GTA V. Although, we are yet to get an official statement regarding the release date of the game, we have gathered some rumors and related updates.

According to KDrama Stars, the GTA V Online Heists release date should be February 27 and announcement could be made earlier than that.

Makers of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) franchise, Rockstar has already announced that GTA V Online Heists will be released before GTA V gets released for the PC, and that official release date is March 24. They have also released a lot of public apology statements about why there has been a delay, and how it will be so worth it when the DLC does finally get released.

"GTA Online for PC, which will support up to 30 players, will launch alongside GTAV for PC and will include GTA Online Heists," Rockstar explained last month.

"Online Heists for consoles will be launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch.

"As we head into 2015, we would like to share the first screens and system specs of Grand Theft Auto V for PC as well as a new release date of March 24, 2015."

GospelHerald reports that the DLC Heists update for GTA V will be free for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation 4, as well as the PC version.

Meanwhile Grand Theft Auto 5 has seen a big price drop on the Xbox 360 and it could be a perfect timing for the release of Online Heists feature, reported Express.
