If rumors are to be believed, the image above is the about to be launched HTC One (M9). The image was found on German retail sites a week ahead of the launch event. HTC has scheduled an event on March 1 where it's expected to release its next flagship.

Reportedly, the listing was found on Cyberport.de, via Evleaks which also contained the price of the smartphone. Considering the image, the design of the HTC One M9 looks eerily similar to previous iterations, not that we're complaining.

According to the leak, the new HTC One (M9) will feature a 20-megapixel camera. The HTC One M8 features a 4-megapixel (Ultra pixel) camera. Other specs include 2GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, 5-inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, a 2900mAh battery, 32GB of expandable storage, Android 5.0 Lollipop, BoomSound speakers and HTC Sense 7.

"As seen in the renders, the HTC One (M9) doesn't vary dramatically from its popular predecessor, although it does bring an array of small, noticeable changes. Notably, the two-tone gold and silver colour scheme on the model above, while the other version has a full gunmetal grey finish. Also, the power button is now on the right side instead of the top," Stuff.tv noted.

The HTC One (M9) will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's Sense 7 skin at it. The price listed is €749 (about £550). The phone, according to rumors will hit shelves on 9th April, however, the figures could vary for countries.

We shall find out everything about the HTC One (M9) officially on March 1.
