No room for Rooms in Microsoft.

After the takeover of Nokia by Microsoft, the Windows phones have taken a major turn in the market. They are seen knocking the doors of the tech market with advanced features.

One of the admired features in the Windows phone was the application of Rooms. Rooms allowed user or a group of users to exchange information, pictures, and calendars and so on, and paved an excellent way for conversation between various users across the globe.

However, this feature of Rooms is anticipated to be missing in the upcoming versions of the phone. Microsoft is looking to paint new feature in their up-coming models and thus putting an end to support its old software's. Microsoft stated, "We're making way for new features in Windows 10 that will help you stay in touch with the people that matter most".

It is rumoured that the upcoming Windows 10 will not feature Rooms. This is quite hard to digest for customers who enjoy using Rooms. However, the number of people under such a category was found be bear minimal and thus it was decided to put an end to such an application. Microsoft has promised to support the application for Windows 8, which would extend only until up gradation to Windows 10.

On the other hand, the recent acquisition of GroupMe, an advanced messaging/ networking application, by Microsoft has filled some amount of hopes in the users.

Since, Satya Nadella has taken charge over the company, Microsoft is trying to 'hit the bull's eye', by implementing more attractive, innovative and advanced features in their upcoming gadgets.
