The first official trailer of "Fifty Shades of Grey," the upcoming feature film based on the bestselling erotic novel by E.L. James, has just been released and it has fans wanting  more.

The first official footage from the Universal Pictures movie manages to encapsulate the story but keep the audience interested. Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, is introduced as a timid, nervous interviewer who meets Christian Grey, characterized by Jamie Dornan, in his New York City high-rise office.

The famous dialog "Mr. Grey will see you now," takes us inside the crisp, tidy office of the eponymous hero who we find peering through the glass walls, looking down at the city.

Steele describes Grey as "polite, intense, smart...really intimidating" and Jamie Dornan fits the first three words in her description to the T.

We see some shots of a shirtless Dornan and his "controlling" ways while a voice over says:

"I don't do romance...my tastes are very ...singular. You wouldn't understand"

"Enlighten me then," Steele says and then Grey shows her his personal secret fetish room.

With an exclusive version of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" playing in the background, the trailer is motivating enough for fans to go watch the movie, or just Google "Fifty Shades of Grey" for that matter.

Will Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson be able to recreate the success of the book through the movie? Watch the trailer below and decide for yourself:

Meanwhile, moral groups in the US are slamming the video for romanticizing BDSM and encouraging rape culture and violence against women.

"With the popularity of this book, mainstream opinion-makers (like Oprah, the Today Show and Broadway) are telling the public (especially youth) that humiliation, degradation and torture in sex is normal and to just give it a try," The Guardian quoted Morality in Media, a Washington-based ethics group.
