Warner Bros. Pictures has released a sneak peak of the highly anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," and no it is not the trailer.

Warner Bros. decided to release a high-definition (HD) promo art that features Henry Cavill as Superman plastered in the center. On his right stands a dark and demeaning Batman, played by Ben Affleck. This Batman, who is not in his usual pose, is already being considered by many fans as one of the best looking Batman characters yet.

On the other side, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman stares into the distance. Although the promo picture does not reveal much about the plot, the trio appears to be standing in front of Gotham City. The movie also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

The picture has gotten fans hyped up about the trailer, which is expected to be released very soon. Although there is no confirmation yet, there is speculation that the trailer might be aired when the Warner Bros.' film, "Focus," premieres on the 27th. "Focus" stars Will Smith and Margot Robbi, who were cast as Deadshot and Harley Quinn respectively in the upcoming movie, "Suicide Squad."

If the trailer does not air on the 27th, rumors are also circulating that the trailer could air when "Mad Max: Fury Road" premieres in the theaters on May 15, 2015.

The plot for this upcoming superhero blockbuster is currently unknown. However, fans can expect to see a lot of action and fighting between the superheroes as well as between the superheroes and villains. Fans can also expect to see Christina Wren take on the role of Major Carrie Farris.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2016.
