Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were spotted spending quality time together with kids at the Malibu Beach on Valentine's Day. The sight sparks rumors of a possible 'conscious recoupling'.

Photos from the Daily Mail showed the two in laidback clothes with the Glee actress wearing blue capri pants and blank top. The Coldplay vocalist, on the other hand, was wearing knee-length dark-blue shorts, blue shirt and a cap. They were with kids, eight-year old Moses and ten-year old Apple.

The exes who are in friendly terms are seen in close proximity with each other talking, joking while walking in the beach.

Being friendly with each other is one of the terms that the couple have agreed on even with their 'conscious uncoupling that started last year.

In a recent interview with Maria Claire Australia via reports from Daily Mail, the actress said, "We've worked really f***ing hard to get to [this] point. But we're very, very close, and it's so nice.

'I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have."

The Maria Claire issue with Paltrow as the cover girl also revealed that she and estranged husband have long been separated since they announced 'conscious uncoupling' on March 14 last year.

Further, the actress had also asked advice from Mortdecai actor, Johnny Depp on how to raise their kids even with their separation.

"Nobody knew what Chris and I had been going through, so I didn't say "Hey, this is what's happening

But I did ask him mostly children-centric questions, like "How is it on them? How did you do it?" Paltrow said.

Meanwhile, a report from Mirror revealed that the Iron Man actress took the separation with estranged husband very seriously.

When asked whether she cried a lot about it, she said: "Oh, God, me. You have an expectation of your life and it's sad to change that expectation. I'd built my life on trying to be all things to all people. I just couldn't do it any more. I just sort of hit a wall."
