iPad Mini 3 is a decent tablet but was kind of a disappointment. It was upgraded only with a fingerprint sensor and the gold color option, which gives us enough reason to get excited about the iPad Mini 4.

According to rumors, the iPad Mini 4 will get impressive update which will make us all forget about iPad Mini 3.

iPad Mini 4 Release Date

History says the next upgrade of iPad Mini will happen in October following the pattern and release would follow a week or two later.

However, according to some reports, iPad Mini 4 will be released alongside an all-new iPad Pro in April or June of this year.

iPad Mini 4 Specs

According to rumors, iPad Mini 4 is expected to boast iPad Air 2's A8X processor along with a thinner design, similar to iPad Air.

"What's much more certain is that the iPad mini 4 will get a processor upgrade, most likely to the A8X used in the iPad Air 2, plus 2GB of RAM. This would give it a considerable performance bump with minimal effect on battery life," reports PC Advisor.

Rumors also suggest that Apple might discontinue the ongoing two models of iPad when it releases iPad Mini 4.
