Indiana Jones 5 Rumors: ‘Awesome Opportunity’ for Chris Pratt to Play Fearless Archeologist

Rumors about a new sequel of Indiana Jones have been spreading since December last year with Chris Pratt being eyed to take the iconic role of the archeologist, Dr. Jones. In a recent press conference on Friday, Pratt was made to say whether he like playing the iconic role.

The Marvel star talked to reporters after he received his Hasty Pudding award at Harvard University. In that event, the actor said playing Dr. Jones 'would be an awesome opportunity," Screen Rant said.

However, he did not give further explanations during the press conference as to whether a contract with Disney and Lucas Films, producers of the film, has been made.

The conference had funny moments with one presenter giving a bra with dinosaur prints to the Jurrasic World actor.

Meanwhile, Movie Web remembered that Chris Pratt and Captain America star Chris Evans made a bet on the Super Bowl. However, the Guardians star lost and with received a funny sanction by visiting the Christopher's Haven children's hospital and entertaining kids with his Star-Lord costume.

In an interview, the GOTG star said that he is happy doing it.

"I said it before, and I plan to live by it. Going into doing Guardians of the Galaxy if it was ever successful enough where it would actually make an impact on a kid's life in a positive way, I would be there to try to do that, and I've been really blessed and happy to do that."

Disney got the rights of the movie franchise Indiana Jones started in 2013 from Paramount, its original film company, Christian Today said.

Aside from the Indiana Jones 5, Chris Pratt also have other movie projects like the sequel of Guardians of the Galaxy said to be released in 2017. He is also eyed to be a part of the cast with Denzel Washington of the remake of the classic, "Magnificent Seven." There are also speculations that Jurassic World will also have a reboot in the future.
