Sony Announces the Launch of Xperia E3

Sony announced the launch of Xperia E3 at the IFA, 2014 in Berlin, Tuesday. The smartphone consists of many fun features including creative camera applications, according to the company press release.

The design of the E3 is similar to the Sony Z3 series smartphones.

 E3 features the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with quad-core 1.2 GHz CPUs and 4G LTE capabilities.

It also has a 4.5-inch IPS screen with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution. 

The phone's specifications put it in an extremely competitive entry-level-to-midrange space, according to mashable.com.

The E3 is  equipped with a   2330 mAh battery with a STAMINA Mode , which keeps it working for 14 percent longer time.  

It also comes with a 5 megapixel camera with HDR that allows the user to capture photos with backlight and also to record HD videos.

The Xperia E 3 offers instant access to the world of music as it comes pre-loaded with Sony's Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services, the press release said.

The Xperia also comes with an exclusive entertainment package in select markets. This includes a 30 day Premium subscription trial of Sony's Music Unlimited cloud-based digital music service and three blockbuster movies from Sony Pictures, which include  The Amazing Spider- Man 2, Captain Phillips and Ghostbusters.

 A dual- SIM variant of the E3 is also available. The Xperia E3 will be launched globally in autumn 2014. The phone is available in a variety of colors including white, black, lime and copper though it may vary in markets.
