Divorce proceedings are starting to take a serious toll on Mariah Carey's singing career, according to various reports. The 44-year-old diva is said to be "distraught," and it shows in her recent performances.

According to TMZ, the songstress was caught lip-syncing her hit song "Fantasy" last weekend at Jamaica's 2015 Jazz And Blues Festival. Her performance at Trelawny Stadium is just one of the many mishaps to hit Carey after news broke that her decade-younger husband filed for divorce.

Carey reportedly was caught struggling to hit some of high notes during a live performance at Rockefellar Center for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, according to Latin Post. The diva also disappointed waiting fans when she skipped the pre-taping of the "All I Want for Christmas Is You," according to ABC News.

"Last night's situation was beyond my control. I apologize to all that showed up, you know that I would never want to disappoint you," Carey tweeted after the incident, according to Latin Post.

"You've kept me here, in your hearts, and I keep you in mine always. We are #lambily! #ThereForMe," she added.

Carey reportedly did not want to her marriage to end- even after rumors of her husband's infidelity surfaced, according to OK! Magazine.

Carey's much younger soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon reportedly filed for divorce Dec. 12, 2014, according to TMZ.

While neither Carey nor Cannon have confirmed the divorce, the 34-year-old "America's Got Talent" host has confirmed that he and his wife of six years have separated and are living apart.

"There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months," Cannon told Lara Spencer in an August interview, according to Perezhilton.
