There isn't any official word on MacBook Pro 2015, but according to reports Apple might be releasing the laptop in the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference to be held from June 8 to 12 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.

Rumors suggested that MacBook Pro 2015 might be formally announced at the upcoming WWDC, either before or after the official reveal of the MacBook Air Retina. Another rumor suggests MacBook Air Retina will be introduced first in the first quarter of the year and that MacBook Pro 2015 will follow at the WWDS.

MacBook Pro 2015 Specs

The MacBook Pro 2015 is rumored to be available in two versions: one 13-inch version featuring 8GB of RAM and second 15-inch version that comes with 16 GB. Both of these could sport a 4K Touchscreen Display.

It is also expected that the new MacBook Pro will be lighter than its predecessors and will come with a better battery life. It might feature Intel's new Broadwell chipsets and possibly feature a Core M processor, making it even more powerful and energy efficient.

There are other rumors, however, that claimed that Apple was possibly waiting later in the year for Intel's new Skylake processors. If that is so, and also given the lack of information about the MacBook Pro, there is a chance that the release date will be pushed back to 2016 instead so that Apple can finalize their plans, reported Christian Post.
