Despite being called the King and one of the greatest basketball players ever in NBA history, LeBron James continues to put his team first. In a recent interview that took place after Wednesday's practice, LeBron stated that he would be willing to come off of the bench if that would help the Cavaliers win.

"It's all about the team and for me being the leader of the team, it doesn't matter. Whatever this team needs in order for us to win, I'll come off the bench. I'm serious. I'll come off the bench," James said. "If it helps our team, that's what it's about, man. It's about a team and how we all fit together, how the five guys on the court fit together, how the eight guys or 10 guys on the bench all help the guys that are on the floor and so on and so on. So, sacrifice is the biggest word in team sports, but it's not about saying it. It's about doing it, as well. It's about living it."

LeBron's statement, even though it was figurative, reiterates his unselfish playing style. The 12-year veteran started off this season by passing the ball and letting his teammates take shots. Although LeBron might be willing to give up his starting spot, it is safe to say that that would not be happening anytime soon.

"No. No. Nope. He's doing fine as he is. He's doing quite fine," coach David Blatt said. "LeBron is a champion and he's not only a great player, but he's a great teammate and he wants his guys, his teammates, to do well and he wants the team to do well. And that's a big positive; it's a really big positive."

LeBron is averaging 26.2 points with 5.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 37.2 minutes. The Cavaliers are 17.2 points better off with LeBron on the court.

LeBron's comments came a few days after teammate Kevin Love had one of the worst games of his career. Love scored only five points on just 1-of-7 shooting against the Philadelphia 76ers. Love's struggles with the Cavaliers have been noted throughout the season.

"I think for Kev, his confidence maybe shooting the ball is a little down," James said. "I want him to shoot the ball and he needs to shoot it with confidence."

Regardless of Love's output, the Cavaliers are currently on an 11-game winning streak. They are fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 30-20 record.

The Cavaliers will host the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night.
