Design of MacBooks

MacBook Pro is expected to follow the pattern - 13-inch and 15-inch equipped with Retina Display.

MacBook Air could come with a 12-inch screen that has a retina display. As of now, the two variants of MacBook Air are 11 inches and 13 inches.

Processor and RAM on MacBook

According to reports, the new MacBook Pro would sport Intel's new Broadwell chipsets. MacBook Pro will also retain the similar amount of RAM for both of its versions: 8GB for 13-inch model and 16GB for 15-inch model.

Reports also suggest that the Apple MacBook Air will not include the "full" core i5/i7 parts, instead it will include features like a Core M processor.

"We definitely believe that the next MacBook Air is going to be a very aggressive design. [But] It's going to be Core M...2.2 pounds if not lighter," said the Director of XPS Product Marketing, Donnie Oliphant.

According to Macworld, the new MacBook Air will come with either 4GB or 8GB RAM.
