‘Batman VS Superman' Trailer did not Air during the Super Bowl

During Super Bowl XLIX, Batman and Superman fans throughout the country were glued to their televisions, hoping to see an exclusive trailer for the highly anticipated Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice. Despite high hopes that an exclusive trailer will air, fans were disappointed when the night ended with no sign of a trailer.

Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released in 2016. It stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman. Amy Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane while Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman.

Advertisement slots aired during the Super Bowl are very expensive, costing customers a few million dollars. However, that the cost has not stopped movie studios from promoting their upcoming blockbusters. This year, the five big movie trailers that were dropped include:

7. Seventh Son

13. Ted 2

14. 50 Shades of Grey
