Taylor Swift Accounts Hacked, Hackers Threatened to Release Naked Photos

Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram accounts were taken over by hackers. Earlier this morning, the singer's Twitter account sent out multiple tweets asking her more than 50 million followers to follow @veriuser and @lizzard. The accounts have since been shut down.

Swift's team realized that her account was hacked roughly 15 minutes after the tweets were sent and quickly deleted them. However, the hackers then moved on the Swift's Instagram, where they posted to her followers, "Go follow @trash :)"

Swift, who is currently on vacation in Hawaii, used Tumblr to address the incident as it was being handled. Swift posted with the title, "Well, now I'm Awake," writing, "My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment."

She added the hashtag, #hackersgonnahackhackhackhackhack.

When her Instagram was hacked, Swift posted "Now Instagram" with the sentence reading, "This is going to be a long day" followed by the hashtags #Thisiswhyi'mscaredoftechnology and #who'sparanoidnow??

According to Buzzfeed News, @lizzard claims to be the "Leader of Lizard Squad" and a member of "LulzSec, Anonymous, UGNazi, ISISGang, GoP, globalHell, stc, zf0, htp, el8, GoD. lurk moar." The account was located in North Korea.

On top of the hacking, @lizzard has threatened to post nude pictures of Swift.

The 25-year-old and her representatives have not addressed the threat regarding nude photos.
