The NFL and YouTube announced their partnership to deliver more content to fans throughout the world. The league, which has been slow and cautious when it comes to embracing the World Wide Web, has launched its own YouTube Channel where fans can easily watch game previews, key highlights and game recaps. The channel will also include news, analyses and fantasy football advice

NFL.com wrote: "This deal represents the latest in a series of partnerships that the NFL has struck with leading digital platforms to continue to increase the accessibility and consumption of some of the most valuable content in the entertainment business."

Under this new partnership, YouTube clips from the NFL channel will also show up during Google searches. As a part of the deal, the kickoff time and broadcast information for every game will show up in these Google searches as well.

"Partnering with YouTube and Google provides the NFL unique access to millions of highly engaged fans through the global leader in video and search," said Hans Schroeder, Senior Vice President, Media Strategy, Business Development, & Sales for the NFL. "We continue to see an insatiable appetite for digital video content, and this partnership further expands fans' ability to discover and access NFL content throughout the year."

The channel, which launched two days ago, has more than 20 videos uploaded. The very first one was uploaded on Jan 24. The video, which runs for 1:36, welcomes all fans and viewers to the channel. The second video, titled "Patriots vs. Seahawks Super Bowl XLIX movie trailer," is a preview of this Sunday's Super Bowl.
