Even though the New England Patriots are currently being investigated by the NFL for cheating, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was able to make light of the situation with one hilarious tweet.

The tweet is of a picture of Gronokowski spiking the ball down into the ground after a touchdown. The meme is accompanied with a warning that reads, "Warning: Gronking may cause deflation."

In the postseason so far, Gronkowski has 10 receptions for 136 yards with two touchdowns. In the regular season, he has made 82 receptions for 1,124 yards with 12 touchdowns.

After the Patriots pummeled the Indianapolis Colts by 45-7, reports surfaced that the league was investigating into the use of overly deflated balls. NFL spokesman Michael Signora revealed that midway through the AFC championship game, a ball was taken off the field and out of circulation in order to be weighed. Bob Kravitz of WTHR was the first to report on this ongoing investigation.

The NFL confirmed on Monday that an investigation had been started. Head coach Bill Belichick stated that the organization would cooperate with the NFL.

"We'll cooperate fully with whatever the league wants, whatever questions they ask, whatever they want us to do," Belichick said on Monday.

According to the NFL rulebook, all game balls must be between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds. A deflated ball would typically make it easier for the players to catch, throw and hold on to the ball depending on how much air is missing, If the Patriots are found guilty, they would lose draft picks according to the WTHR report.

The Patriots will face returning champions, the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1 in Arizona.
