Gary Kubiak will work with John Elway once again.

Multiple sources are reporting that Kubiak and Elway, the Denver Broncos general manager and executive vice president, are negotiating the terms of a four-year contract. Once the deal is finalized, Kuniak, who was the former backup quarterback for Elway, will be the Broncos' next head coach.

"Oh, man, if it's Kubiak, that would be great. I'd love to see him back in Denver. John Elway said at the podium the other day that he knew what it took to win a championship. Well, who else was there when he won a championship? Kubiak," NFL Network analyst Terrell Davis said reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Kubiak reportedly met with Elway and CEO Joe Ellis for several hours in Houston, TX on Sunday. The organization had parted ways with John Fox after the Broncos lost against the Indianapolis Colts. Fox reportedly did not have enough fire for big games. He has already been hired by the Chicago Bears.

Kubiak was the Ravens' offensive coordinator this year. He improved the Ravens' rushing offense from being ranked 30th in the league to eighth. Under Kubiak, quarterback Joe Flacco's sacks fell from 48 to 19.

"I look forward to get to know him and start a new tradition with the Broncos," Broncos defensive lineman Malik Jackson said according to the Denver Post.

"I'll play for anybody, anywhere," running back C.J. Anderson said. "I just want to win."

Prior to this post, he was the head coach of the Texans from 2006 to 2013 and went 63-66 including the postseason. During his last season with the Texans, Kubiak had a health scare when he collapsed during a game. He was fired by the Texans with three games left.

Kubiak did not interview with the Bears and the New York Jets, stating that he was happy with the Ravens. However, when Elway called, all that changed. Kubiak was the backup quarterback to Elway from 1983 to 1991. He was also the offensive coordinator for the Broncos under Mike Shanahan from 1995 to 2005. He contributed to the Broncos back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998 when Elway was the starting quarterback.

Kubiak will most likely bring Ravens quarterbacks coach Rick Dennison with him. He would become the franchise's 15th head coach.
