HTC has announced an event called "Utopia in Progress" for March 1 in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress. The company invited members of press, where it is expected to reveal is highly anticipated new flagship HTC One M9.

So far we have only heard rumors that suggest HTC One M9 may sport a 1080p display powered by Qualcomm's latest octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3GB of RAM.

It is expected that HTC might ditch the low-resolution Ultrapixel camera, the one in HTC One M8 for a sharp 20.7MP shooter along with a selfie friendly 13MP camera on the front. HTC Desire Eye already features the 13-MP front camera.

Design-wise, HTC One M9 will continue with the all-metal chassis, however, some rumors suggest HTC might not retain the front-facing BoomSound speakers. Recently, leaked images showed a new phone from HTC without bezels.

However, we are not very sure HTC will abandon one of the best aspect of its devices, just for the sake of aesthetics.

Some report suggest at the new event HTC might launch a wearable - one area of market where we are still expecting a device from the company.

Samsung Galaxy S6 might also be launched in Barcelona, and we hope to see a tough battle between these two flagships.
