‘European Founders Need To Work 10x Harder Than American Rivals’- Brent Hoberman

Brent Hoberman, who cofounded travel booking and gift website Lastminute.com in 1998, told a packed theater of entrepreneurs on Friday how he went from running one of the first tech success stories in Britain to acting as a mentor to the next generation of founders.

Hoberman spoke of his roller-coaster ride as an entrepreneur at the Forbes Under 30 Global Retreat in Bratislava, Slovakia.

"If you're an entrepreneur, I think you want to feel like an outsider in some way," Hoberman said during an interview with Forbes Europeeditor Alex Wood. "A little insecurity is good. I think you've got to have something inside you that is unhinged."
