This Isn’t Real iMac, But We Wish It Were

If ever the iPad Air and original Mac had a child, it would look something like this. To honor the glorious journey of personal computers, a German tech site Curved/Labs created a piece of fantasy design work - a conceptual "Mac 2105."

The design is an homage to the first Macintosh, looking like the perfect little Apple lovechild.

The design takes the boxiness from Lisa and sleekness from the MacBook Air. It is also said to include an 11-inch touch screen.

The components were assembled from a 2014 MacBook Air and were modified to fit the iMac's throwback design.

"An SSD flash memory with 128 gigabytes of storage is built in, either 4 or 8 gigabytes of memory are available. The CPU is the latest i7 chip from Intel. The casing is, of course, made of the same high quality as used for the aluminum MacBooks, iPhones and iPads," Curved wrote.

It also comes in gold, space grey and silver color options.

Reportedly, Apple fanboys are lining up ready to throw down whatever amount of money it takes, but as of now it's not a real iMac, but we wish it were.
