'Legion' Season 1 Chapter 2 Spoilers, News & Update: New Promo Trailer Released; David Gets Confused

A new promo trailer is released for "Legion" Season 1 Chapter 2. The latest trailer of the series gives a glimpse of the mutant wars.

The first season of "Legion" focused on David Hallers (Dan Stevens) experiences. He gets confused about the things going on in his head. He has a lot of questions to be answered. There has been an introduction of David in the first season of the series.

In the meantime, the new trailer of the second episode of "Legion" Season 1 sets David in training. He gets trained to unleash his mutant powers. He is under the care of Melanie Bird (Jean Smart). The trailer hints on how David will eventually unleash his power as a mutant.

David has been diagnosed as schizophrenic as a child and has been in an out of an institution. As an adult, he has been in a daily routine in the institution. Eventually, he meets Syd (Rachel Keller) who is a new patient in the institution. The two get along well until David finds out that all the things he is going through are indications of him being a mutant in "Legion."

He manages to escape the institution and finds shelter with his sister, Amy (Katie Aselton). Syd then gets David introduced to Melanie. She is a psychiatrist who nurtures patients with a sharp mind. She always does his therapy using unconventional methods in "Legion" Season 1 Chapter 2.

Meanwhile, there are questions as to how Legion will fit in the X-Men Universe. There have been mutant wars being shown in the X-Men movies but this a new one. Director Noah Howley shares that the team is making sure that Legion will find a way to connect with the X-Men Universe.

Howley also notes that Legion is "an invented world." The show may take place in a whole new setting from the X-Men universe.

"Legion" Season 1 airs every Wednesday nights.
