'John Wick: Chapter 2' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Keanu Reeves Prepares For The Film; Reunites With Matrix Cast

Keanu Reeves returns for "John Wick: Chapter 2" and the film is set to air soon. The show has additional stars that make the film like a Matrix reunion.

According to a report, the film "John Wick: Chapter 2" is a sequel from the original one. This time Wick wants to retire and mourn for the death of his wife when a call that he cannot refuse came in. Wick then goes to Rome for the mission.

The original casts are still with Reeves in the film and there are also those that are added in John Wick: Chapter 2. One actor that is introduced in the sequel is Laurence Fishburne. The two have worked with each other in the Matrix. It seems that they are having a Matrix reunion while filming.

Keanu Reeves has done training to prepare for "John Wick: Chapter 2." He actually took the time to do fight training and target shooting. Aside from that he also enhanced his martial arts techniques since it was needed for his character in the film.

Reeves made sure that he is prepared for his role in "John Wick: Chapter 2." As a skilled assassin in the movie, he has done the training needed for his skills. He also needed to practice with car maneuvering since the film calls for it.

Meanwhile, aside from Fishburne that has worked with Reeves in the Matrix, director Chad Stahelski also reunites with Reeves in "John Wick: Chapter 2." Stahleski worked with Reeves in the Matrix as the stunt coordinator.

"John Wick: Chapter 2" is a sequel and explores more on Wick's work in a foreign land. The cast and crew also somehow are reunited with one another since they did the Matrix years back. There are stunts and moves that bear the signature of Wick in this sequel.

"John Wick: Chapter 2" airs on Feb. 10.
