iFlix has known to be a really tough competitor to Netflix when it comes to streaming activities. Now that both companies have their own original offerings, it's also one of their goals to expand and strengthen their empire around the world.

Now that iFlix has reached the lands of Pakistan, iFlix promises to promote and give special focus on local contents. iFlix General Manager Farees Shaah has admitted to the site that Netflix is continuously gaining more strength from about 40 countries in terms of revenue. Shaah said that what their competitor missed is the big potential of local contents in revenue making and gathering and that's what they are doing now.

It's known that iFlix have also expanded their territory over countries in Asia such as Philippines and its neighboring countries like Singapore, Thailand, and others. And now that the increase of smartphone users is now observed in Pakistan, Shaah believes that it's now the perfect timing to make an action over this matter.

iFlix is now promising about five thousand hours of viewing for a monthly subscription of just Rs300. Aside from the company's localization, the company has reported a good number in their revenues. As Variety reports, in Malaysia alone, iFlix has already reached $45 Million last year through Sky. However, as they forecast a $150 Million to have its territories in Asia expand, the company has failed to reach their goal.

And as the iFlix presently holds about 160 studio and distributor partnerships, gaining more revenue will always be their top on their priority lists. Fans of iFlix in Pakistan will surely be able to love their favorite local shows more as the company will be featuring at least 10 titles. Some of these will be Gul e Rana, Bin Roye, Udaari Yaad Kar, and Maan.

Also, Pakistanis will also have the chance to take a look of famous international shows iFlix has been featuring such as Arrow, Gossip Girl, and The Last Ship.
