"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is set to return and it seems that an actor from the series is to leave this upcoming season.

According to a report, actor Freddie Stroma who plays the role of Dickon in "Game of Thrones" is not coming back to the seventh season. Dickon is also Samwell Tarley's (John Bradley) brother in the series. Stroma shares that he is not able to do the series since he accepted 'Time After Time' from ABC.

Stroma was in the episode 'Blood of My Blood' in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Although, he is not coming back for the seventh season, he expresses that the whole series had been fun. He also noted that he watch all the episodes for the series.

It already has been reported that Tom Hopper will join "Game of Thrones" Season 7. However, it is not confirmed if he will play the role of Dickon to replace Stroma in the series. Stroma is already aware that the character Dickon is set to return in the upcoming season but because of his schedule he is not able to return to the show.

Dickon was the favorite son of his father Randyll (James Faulkner) in the series. Randyll preferred Dickon over Sam and he even asked Sam to be with the Night's Watch in order for Dickon to inherit the Tarly name.

Meanwhile, even though Stroma is not returning to "Game of Thrones" Season 7, his character Dickon is definitely coming back. This is not the first time that the show has re casted roles. This already happened with Daario Naharis.

Originally the character has been portrayed by Ed Skrein and later on was replaced by Michiel Huisman. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is also speculated to be bloodier and there are more dragons this season. Alliances will also be formed in the upcoming show.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to air this year.
