Lagertha Lothbrok (Katheryn Winnick) has conquered Kategatt and is now the head of the place in "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 16. She still cannot believe that Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) is dead.

In the recent episode of "Vikings" Season 4, word had spread that Ragnar is dead. He has been thrown to a pit with snakes by King Aelle (Ivan Aelle). Lagertha takes center command to rule the people of Kategatt. As Lagertha assumes the throne, she has some new ideas for Kategatt. It is now the largest and the richest trading center in Norway. The people agreed with Lagertha except Aslaug's (Alyssa Sutherland) and Ragnar's sons.

Ivar (Alex Hogh Andersen) is not happy with the turn of events especially with what happened to his mother. He challenges Lagertha to a combat and the latter declines since she does not want to kill anybody especially Ragnar's sons.

There is not a day that Lagertha does not think about Ragnar and their life together. In "Vikings" Season 4 she is threatened by Ragnar's sons and may soon be killed by one of them. In one of the scenes, Lagertha dreamt about Ragnar. She then went to see The Seer and asks about her future as the ruler of Kategatt.

Meanwhile, "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 17 is titled 'The Great Army.' There is not much information on how the episode will run but there is going to be a big gathering to happen in Kategatt. The place has become so busy and the gathering is to take place with the whole Viking army.

Additionally, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) is going to be absent and Lagertha is not going to see him in this gathering. Lagertha needs to be vigilant about her safety in the upcoming episode of "Vikings" Season 4. It may be that with the events that happened with Aslaug's demise, her sons may take on their revenge towards Lagertha.

"Vikings" Season 4 airs every Wednesday night.
