The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Takes After the Events of Trails of Cold Steel II

Popular RPG series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will be getting its third installment in the series. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will be a PS4 exclusive, a first in the series.

Nihon Falcom, the developers behind The Legend of Heroes series revealed that the third game in the Trails of Cold Steel series will be a Playstation 4 exclusive game. The upcoming installment will feature brand new mechanics as well as carrying over the story from the previous games. They will also sport an improvement in the game's graphics and controls. Unlike its predecessors, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is the first game created by Falcom that will not be available in the console systems that sport the first two of the Trails of Cold Steel series.

Centering on Rean Schwarzer as the "Ashen Chevalier," the young man who came to be seen as a hero within the country, a new story of young heroes will unfold-

In an interview with Nihon Falcom president, Toshihiro Kondo, he shared more details on what will fans expect with the third installment in the Trails of the Cold Steel series. He revealed that Trails of Cold Steel III will take place a year and a half after the events of Trails of Cold Steel II. Returning characters from Trails of Cold Steel and Trails in the Sky will make their appearances. According to Kondo, they'll be depicting the story of the western side of the empire. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel was released in North America in December 2015 for the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita. Its sequel, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II made its debut last September 6 this year also for the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita. Check out the game's first screenshots here.
