“Dragon Quest XI” will launch in 2017 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and 3DS, but they didn’t mention Nintendo Switch release. However, a few hours ago, Nintendo confirmed once again that a Switch version of the game is currently in the works.

The game “Dragon Quest XI” was announced last year as Nintendo Everything reported. But, Square Enix reconfirmed it in the Japanise magazine Nintendo Dream. “Dragon Quest XI” will be launched next week for PlayStation 4 and 3DS, but Square Enix didn’t say anything about “Dragon Quest XI” for Nintendo Switch, and the Switch logo is not in the game teaser’s website. However, there will be a version for Switch but unfortunately, it will be launched after PlayStation 4’s version.

According to WccfTech, still there are no details about Nintendo Switch’s version of “Dragon Quest XI” but there will definitely be one as Nintendo reported, the Switch version is in the works. This version for Switch will be a little different from PlayStation 4 and 3DS’ version, but it will be close enough.

A trailer for “Dragon Quest XI” was released which is showing the opening cutscene of the game Mobi Picker reported. The fans and players are eagerly waiting to see how the characters are going to have personalities again after the blank slates of DQ9. This game is looking amazing, but fans are more interested in the game’s story. Square Enix didn’t say anything about the Nintendo Switch version of the game and the trailer doesn’t have the Switch’s logo but Nintendo announced the Switch version is currently in works. Fans have a few complaints about the design, though, they think character’s eyes, lips, and the whole face looks awkward, maybe they aren’t used to it, but they think it would be better if they kept the original anime style. However, Square Enix will have a presentation on January 12 and fans will see if there will or won’t be a Switch version of “Dragon Quest XI.”
